The Department offers a number of online services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week through its website including the ability to schedule an appointment and obtain a Right to Sue Notice. In addition, you can call us at  (800) 884-1684 or email the Department and a DFEH representative will respond to you within three business days.  For persons with a hearing disabilty, please use the Videophone for the DEAF at (916) 226-5285 or TTY (800) 700-2320.

  • View the 2012 holidays when offices are closed.
  • Filing a Complaint. The Department of Fair Employment and Housing does not accept complaints filed for investigation by mail.
  • Contact DFEH about an existing complaint. Contact your investigator directly. If you have lost that information, or need other help regarding a specific complaint, please call (800) 884-1684.
